Photography has always been something that allured me a lot. When I was young and a student once I participated in a contest, but alas! I didn't get any prize. At that time I borrowed a friend's Yashica Electro 35 Rangefinder to participate in the program as I did not own one, I could not afford to buy one. After that for long time I kept my desire locked up in safe, for financial matters. There were other priorities. But the camera never ceased to charm me.
Later I realized that my attraction to the camera is not just the kind of attraction that I have for electronic stuff. It was more deep, a love for art. I like people that can draw, and maybe I wanted to compensate my disability to draw by taking memorable pictures. Now I have bought a camera, a digital SLR, though an entry level one.!Within days I learned how to take a photo, I mean, in all modes the camera has. But I am still learning to take good photos, or cool photos. I think as some one said about music, it is a never-ending search. You can master your camera, but you got to see the world always through the viewfinder, and you should see what others don't see, to be a good photographer.
The camera I bought is a Canon EOS 1000D. It has a 10 MP CMOS sensor, the highlight. It offers seven point autofocus, four creative zones to unleash your skills. I also had bought a lens, apart from the one that came with the camera.
Now I am going to step out to the world and see how it looks through the lens. I hope to be a lensman pretty soon, and a full time one.
